A ring causes PC to boot up
Q. I recently noticed that my PC was starting up by itself, sometimes within five minutes of shutting down, sometimes within five hours. About 85 percent of the time, the computer starts when an incoming call rings or if I lift any telephone receiver. I have to thank my husband for the answer.
